Supreme Court rules Title VII job protections for LGBTQ+
The Supreme Court ruled that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibiting discrimination in employment based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin also covers sexual orientation and transgender status. It was a 6-3 decision.
